Job Description
This position supports the daily operations of the academic advising unit. This role provides supervisory oversight of advisors, manages initiatives, and ensures delivery of consistent and effective advising services across assigned teams and populations and leads advising teams in alignment with institutional goals for student retention and graduation rates, using data-informed practices to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Onboard, supervise and evaluate academic advisors and support staff. Position will supervise two teams of advisors (total of 7 advisors)
• Coordinate team's advising schedules, caseload assignments, and team activities
• Serve as a member of advising leadership team, contributing to long-term planning
• Assist in management of initiatives related to advising improvements, such as early alert or retention programs
• Support implementation and maintenance of advising technologies, including case management
• Advise assigned undergraduate students on academic planning, course registration, and university policies and procedures; advise and support undeclared students through major exploration

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $59,738 to $67,783 annually.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
