Department Information

DEPARTMENT-SPECIFIC TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develops and distributes original evaluation and survey tools to support OLI initiatives and special projects
  2. Leads assessment services and provides consultation.
  3. Partners with OLI program leaders and leadership to create and sustain customized data strategies
  4. Oversees program evaluation efforts across all OLI programs

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES*:

  • Kirkpatrick's Model of Program Evaluation or similar program evaluation skills
  • Power automate proficiency
  • Advance Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method assessment skills

Job Summary

Leads and guides the business data analyst team, data analysis and reporting for all assigned departments. Coordinates with departments and other University stakeholders to gather data, analyze trends, develop graphs and generate operational and financial reports, including but not limited to daily sales reports, report interpretation and trend analysis. Coordinates proactive problem identification and resolution through data collection, upgrade reports and interpretation. Collaborates with others to create, analyze and interpret reports to make data driven recommendations to leadership for quantitative business decisions.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*:

  1. Compiles standard and ad hoc reports per established guidelines and frequency
  2. Provides reports, analysis and data interpretation for all assigned departments
  3. Provides leadership and development to data analysts
  4. Identifies areas of opportunity and presents findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
  5. Provides productivity, labor and occupancy analysis reports
  6. Develops and maintains reports to measure activity, sales and/or service utilization
  7. Prepares annual reports required of association affiliations and/or oversight requirements
  8. Compiles monthly operational review that includes trend analysis
  9. Assists with assigned inventory reporting and analysis
  10. Provides event reporting that assists with measuring performance and effectiveness
  11. Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across campus, including working closely with the Office of University Data Strategy to maintain alignment with overall university data strategy

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field

Required Experience
Three (3) years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Certificate in Data Analytics

Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Proposed Salary

The budgeted salary range is $65,400 to $83,400 annually. Offers are based on relevant experience. Comprehensive benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 13 paid holidays, vacation, generous retirement plans, tuition waiver, wellness options, and more!
