Render admission decisions in accordance with institutional
admission policies, procedures, established academic standards, and
published admission criteria. Maintain a thorough understanding of
institutional admission requirements, academic policies, and
enrollment objectives. Verifies the completeness and accuracy of
application materials and communicate missing or required
documentation with appropriate contact
Apply professional judgement when evaluating applications
requiring holistic review or exceptions to standard admission
criteria. Ensure admissions decisions are processed accurately and
within established service-level expectations
Process and evaluate academic transcripts using Brainware,
ensuring documents are accurately reviewed, classified, and routed
for admissions processing. Verify transcript information for
accuracy and completeness and ensure required data is properly
captured in the system. Identify and resolve transcript processing
issues, discrepancies, and exceptions with Brainware and related
admissions systems
Collaborate with recruitment staff, academic departments,
registrar, financial aid, and other campus offices to resolve
application-related questions and support enrollment goals.
Participate in training and calibration sessions to ensure
consistent application review practices across the admissions team.
Collaborate with academic departments, Student Success, recruitment
staff and other campus stakeholders to review admission appeals and
conditional admission requests, ensuring decisions are consistent
with institutional policies, academic standards, and student
success objectives. Utilize customer relationship management (CRM)
and student information systems to review applications, document
decisions, and maintain accurate applicant records
Monitor assigned application queues and prioritize work to meet
institutional deadlines. Assist in developing and implementing
admissions policies, procedures, and workflow improvements to
increase efficiency and consistency. Maintain confidentiality of
student records in accordance with applicable federal, state, and
institutional regulations, including FERPA. Generate reports or
assist with data validation and quality assurance activities
related to admissions decisions.
Support special projects and perform other duties as
assigned
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable
knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established
as $19.25 to $24.04 hourly
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not
limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education,
skills, and experience, as well as organizational
requirements.
