Senior Executive, Outreach
Job Description
The incumbent plays a key role in driving the vision and execution of Mind Art Experiential Lab (MAELab). Responsible for the development and execution of creative and integrative interventions through art and mindfulness; establishment of scientific evidence of innovative preventive interventions through research; and scaling up evidence-based interventions to impact the community. Work closely with committees and advisory board and various partners in developing programmes, capability building and facilitating research to fulfil Mind Science Centre’ mission.
Art curation and Programme Development
- Lead the planning, design, and curation of immersive art exhibition every 6-9 months, integrating experiential art-based activities aligned with the curation.
- Collaborate with artists, therapists, and practitioners to deliver meaningful and therapeutic experiences for diverse community groups.
Art administration
- Manage end-to-end logistics of exhibitions and art programmes, including tender preparation, artist-in-residence engagement, timeline tracking, procurement, and vendor management.
- Oversee programme budgeting, implementation, and post-event review to ensure high-quality and cost-effective execution.
MindGym Management
- Design and manage the delivery of MindGym workshops grounded in mindfulness practices.
- Build and support a community of mindfulness practitioners, including programme facilitators and participant
Marketing and outreach
- Raise awareness, participation, and engagement for MAELab initiatives through targeted outreach strategies.
- Partner with community organisations, volunteers, and media outlets to amplify programme visibility and impact.
- Support the development of publicity materials, media content, and exhibition write-ups
Research and Evaluation
- Facilitate collaboration with research scientists to integrate MAELab programmes into research studies.
- Support the collection of participant feedback, data analysis, and documentation to generate scientific evidence of programme efficacy
Sustainability and Governance
- Develop the MAELab’s annual workplan and budget, ensuring alignment with the Centre’s strategic goals.
- Explore and secure funding sources through grants, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Support the secretariat functions and activities of the Art Science Council.
- Develop action plan and annual budget; build sources of funding and revenue; support Art Science Council.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager to manage programme budgets, payments, subsidies, and audits.
- Collaborate with the Fundraising Manager on donor engagement, fundraising initiatives, and scholarship administration.
- Handle public and stakeholder enquiries related to exhibitions, workshops, and MAELab activities.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, events, and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- Have excellent organisational and managerial skills
- Demonstrate high levels of autonomy and initiative
- Ability to multi-task and work with others to plan and prioritise
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Canva
- Pleasant disposition, meticulous, pro-active
- Willingness to work on weekday evenings and weekends. Dates will be made known in advanced
- Good communication skills are also essential in order to engage with the wide range of individuals, stakeholders and groups connected to the Programme.
