Senior Executive, Programme Administration (1-year contract)
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Executive to support the efficient delivery and continued growth of the Bachelor of Science (Nursing Practice) programme. This 1-year contract role supports end-to-end programme administration—from outreach and admissions support to course delivery, assessments, reporting, and completion processes—ensuring operations are timely, accurate, and aligned with academic quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Programme planning, outreach and admissions support
- Support outreach and marketing efforts (e.g., programme/admissions webpage updates, collaterals, education and career fairs) to attract quality applicants.
- Support admissions administration, ensuring timely processing and release of application outcomes aligned to academic calendar timelines.
- Coordinate semester readiness for assigned courses (e.g., venues, timetables, enrolment coordination for lecturers/tutors).
Programme operations (Year 2 & 3)
- Manage student and stakeholder enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Support faculty (including Course Leads) and external lecturers to ensure smooth course delivery.
- Coordinate assessment and examination administration, ensuring deadlines and audit requirements are met.
- Support assessment-related setup (e.g., assessments and rubrics on e-exam platforms where applicable).
- Conduct the annual Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) CPE points exercise (collate student details and submit required documentation).
Post-semester / completion administration
- Support marks entry checking and prepare documentation for pre-Board of Examiners (BOE) audits to ensure accuracy in marks management.
- Administer annual Exit and Employer Surveys; engage stakeholders to achieve strong response rates.
- Collate end-of-semester student feedback reports for courses.
- Support alumni communications to promote continuing and lifelong learning.
Department support and process improvement
- Support department events and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to business continuity documentation (e.g., SOPs) and process improvement projects to streamline and digitise workflows.
- Provide secretariat support for meetings (agenda collation, minutes, tracking action items).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business or related fields; other disciplines considered with relevant relevant experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in administrative/operations roles supporting academic programmes (preferably in a university setting).
- Strong data management and reporting skills, with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; collaborative and professional.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with student management/academic administration systems (e.g., NUS EduRec or similar) is an advantage.
