Job Description
The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) is seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Senior Business Support Specialist for the college. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure department initiators are in compliance with financial policies by reviewing and approving all financial transactions for the academic departments and centers within the college. This critical role is an opportunity to make a lasting and significant impact in the college through a variety of tasks, including:
- Approve all expense reports, reimbursements, requisitions, and non-PO vouchers for all departments in CASE
- Reconcile and enter annual budget for Dean's Office accounts
- Approve GTA/GRA appointments for a budgetary review
- Help department admins with maintaining grants, including clear deficits and keeping budgets on track
- Create all MoCodes for CASE
- Enter budget corrections as needed for CASE
- Answer admin and faculty financial questions and provide training as needed
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.87-$21.50 hourly.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
