Senior Finance Business Partner

Scope of Position

The Senior Finance Business Partner for University Hospital is a strategic partner in support of the academic medical center’s tripartite mission, supporting University Hospital.

Position Summary

The Senior Finance Business Partner is responsible for leading the finance business partner function that provides strategic consultation, coordination, and leadership on financial and operational matters to operational leaders throughout University Hospital (UH) inclusive of its ambulatory, inpatient and community and population health clinical settings and programs. Specifically, the Senior Finance Business Partner:

• Provides finance strategy for UH including opportunities to grow the business and deliver greater value.
• Provides finance officer functions for UH including monthly financial reporting and annual budget preparation.
• Leads the business analytics/decision support infrastructure that provides a coordinated resource for business planning, strategic planning, and monitoring/ROI functions.
• Oversees business operations by providing insights and support into the clinical operations areas of UH.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and twelve years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a finance role in a health care environment.
