Responsibilities
- Provide support on the development, operation and maintenance of Identity & Access Management (IAM) system including integration of various data sources, development of account provisioning workflow, reporting and access rights review, etc.
- Conduct security incident investigation and response for the University’s IT infrastructure
- Provide support on the development, operation and maintenance of Key Management Systems, KMS, including development workflow of key life-cycle management policy and monitoring, integration of applications and systems, etc.
- Conduct Security Operation Centre (SOC) operation, working with an outsourced SOC to provide the regular and ad hoc cybersecurity tasks and investigations
- Provide support on the enhancement of Security Information and Event Management System (SIEM) including application events onboarding, management and detection logic development
- Carry out daily operations and first line diagnosis for network security issues and services
- Work shifts and irregular hours as required
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
- A recognized Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Hands-on experience in network security products including Firewall, EDR, SIEM, Secure Email Gateway, Network Access Control, WAF, IDS/IPS and MSS handling
- A strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies, data protection, SSO/MFA, operating systems, and key management
- A strong understanding of user account life cycle management and access rights control
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective user support
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with inventory management tools and practices
Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at the relevant rank.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of three years.
