Do you enjoy working with young people, are you curious and keen to pass on your knowledge? As a Senior Lecturer, you will play a key role in the education of students. Together with a dedicated team of teaching staff, you will make a significant contribution to the students’ success. In addition to providing a sound academic education, the motivation of our students is particularly close to our hearts. We want to support young people in developing a curious and critical mindset, thereby laying a solid foundation for future professional challenges.
Your workplace:
As a Senior Lecturer, you will be based in the field of aesthetic sports within the Sports and Exercise Science degree programme and the Physical Education and Sport course. This involves teaching in the areas of gymnastics, acrobatics and dance, as well as floor and artistic gymnastics.
The position is for 40 (or 20) hours per week and involves an average teaching load of 24 (or 12) contact hours per semester.
We are seeking a candidate who can cover both areas of aesthetic sports disciplines. Alternatively, there is the option of splitting the post by subject area and filling it with two candidates. In this case, the working hours would be 50% each, with an average teaching load of 12 contact hours per week for each candidate, with the option to increase this if required.
Please state explicitly in your application whether you wish to apply for both areas (40 hours) or only for one (20 hours) of the two areas.
