About the Position

The department is offering 1–2 Senior Lecturer positions with a focus on teaching and pedagogical development, with opportunities for research (25–50% depending on interest and funding).

The main teaching areas include:

  • Introduction to computer systems
  • Machine-oriented programming
  • Computer system design
  • Projects in computer engineering

Research opportunities are available in topics related to your teaching area, in collaboration with strong research teams. Collaboration with industry and the wider society is encouraged.

Eligibility

Candidates must:

  • Hold a doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field or have equivalent scientific competence relevant to the subject
  • Demonstrate teaching proficiency in computer engineering
  • Be very comfortable with English; proficiency in Swedish is considered meritorious
  • Industrial experience and pedagogical training (≥15 credits or equivalent) are a merit

Security clearance may be required.

Assessment Criteria

Applications will be assessed based on:

  • Pedagogical qualifications: documented teaching experience, course and program development, supervision
  • Scientific qualifications: publications, research potential, international collaboration, ability to obtain funding
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Leadership, administrative, and cooperation skills

Employment Terms

  • Permanent full-time position (100%)
  • Teaching is conducted in Swedish and English
  • Swedish language courses provided for international staff
  • Relocation support available for international applicants
