Senior Lecturer/Lecturer (Healthy Longevity)

The Academy for Healthy Longevity (the Academy) at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, seeks applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position. The Academy is leading advancements in Geroscience and Precision Geromedicine through innovative education, research, and its dissemination. Position Overview

This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of our educational and capacity-building initiatives, working closely with the Academy’s leadership team. The appointment level will be Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, based on the candidate's track record in education leadership, delivery, and research. This is a three-year position, with potential for renewal based on performance.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the new Masters program in Geroscience and Precision Geromedicine.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate curricula for undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing professional education, including undergraduates and/or official graduate students, MSc-level courses, short courses, masterclasses, and executive education.
  • Provide academic support for the Academy activities, such as organizing international conferences and workshops.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders about the Academy’s educational activities and impacts.
  • Participate actively in the research activities of the Academy.

The applicant should have:

  • Keen interest in the development of this emerging field.
  • PhD in Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health, Life Sciences, or a related field with relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience in educational approaches and training at the undergraduate/graduate level is preferred.
  • Experience in curriculum design is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of publications and presentations at international or national scientific conferences, particularly in medical and health professions education.
