KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs, implements, and coordinates operational facets of a specific program.
- Develops strategic plans and objectives that ensure the program's continued success, and develops evaluation methods to assess outcomes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree in a field related to specified program areas and five years related program management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in CME program coordination, medical education administration, or healthcare compliance, including direct experience managing commercial support and/or joint providerships.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively across a wide range of stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and institutional leadership.
- Accreditation Knowledge, Demonstrated working knowledge of ACCME accreditation criteria, Standards for Integrity and Independence, and the AMA PRA Credit System.
- Hands-on experience managing industry grants, financial reconciliation of commercial support, and compliance with applicable policies and guidance.
- Technology, Proficiency with CME management platforms, learning management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint), Zoom, and SharePoint.
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; demonstrates accountability and takes ownership of responsibilities. Eagerness to learn and adapt; able to understand and apply new information quickly in a dynamic regulatory environment.
- Commitment to customer service excellence and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
- Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a consistent in-office presence on Tuesdays (except holidays), as required.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
