Senior Scientist with doctorate/PhD

Level of employment: 100 % (40 hours/week)

Salary: € 70,200.20 per annum (gross)

Limited to: 5 years

Your responsibilities

• International research activities, including publications and presentations at conferences
• Teaching, especially in the English-language BA programme “Digital Media, Culture, and Communication (DMC²)”
• Supervision of students
• Participation in third-party funding applications
• Engaging in collaboratively building tutorials for quantitative methods/CSS

Your profile

• Doctoral/PhD degree in Media and/or Communication Research
• Research experience in Media and/or Communication Research
• Skills in quantitative methods and/or computational approaches
• Teaching experience
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English (at least C1)
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German (at least B1)
