Sessional Academics- School of Communication

The School of Communication is looking to establish a pool of sessional academics who can support with learning and teaching across a broad range of study areas across the Bachelor of Communication. The School supports Majors in the following areas:

  • Media and Communication Industries
  • Journalism
  • Strategic Communication (Minor)

Successful Applicants Will Have The Following

  • At least a Master’s degree or be currently enrolled in a Master’s program, with a preference for those in a relevant Doctoral program
  • Relevant and current industry experience
  • Experience of teaching and/or assessing skills
  • Demonstrate a willingness to undertake an induction to QUT and complete mandatory on-line training as required for all staff at QUT

Successful applicants may be contacted by Unit Coordinators and may receive request/s to work in areas that match their profile. Your resume will remain on file for 12 months.
