Short-Term Casual - Office Coordinator Assistant
Position Summary
The short term casual will work directly with the Alumni Relations team, stakeholders, and partners to assist in event planning, office administration and project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the management and coordination of all Alumni Relations events and projects.
- Collaborate with organizations and offices on and off campus toward the execution of all Alumni Relations events, including coordinating with vendors, reviewing contracts, overseeing catering, processing payments, and managing registration.
- Manage registration for events, support the office with administrative tasks (printing nametags, updating documents, researching).
- Support Alumni Relations office by providing information regarding the office to all visitors
- Manages and maintains office and event spaces, ensuring they are organized, stocked, and operational
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Graduate or Equivalency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in basic computer skills, i.e., word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, web sites, and creating/updating databases
- Professional and respectful manner at all times
- Responsible and dependable (i.e., report to work and/or events as scheduled.)
- Possess strong organizational and management abilities, with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Deliver results under prescribed deadlines and changing demands.
- Display excellent customer service skills.
