Singapore Management University (SMU), a research-intensive university with recognised strengths in management, computing, law, economics, and social sciences, invites outstanding scholars to join us as tenure-track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor under the University's Presidential Early Career Professorship (SMU-PEP) Scheme.
Following the successful inaugural round of the SMU-PEP Scheme in 2025, SMU is pleased to open its second call for applications from scholars whose research aligns with SMU’s strategic research priorities:

Early-career scholars from any academic discipline whose work addresses the challenges of ageing societies, sustainable cities, or resilient workforces are especially encouraged to apply. Exceptional candidates working outside these priority areas are welcome to apply.

Qualifications
Applicants should:
- Hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, earned within six years of the application date
- Have postdoctoral research and teaching experience
- Demonstrate an excellent research track record, particularly in interdisciplinary work
- Show strong potential to contribute high-impact future research
