Nature & Purpose of Position
This is a College Work Study (CWS) position. Therefore, candidates must be awarded Work Study funding. The CWS student employee will provide direct professional assistance to office staff and the department chair. This includes being the first point of contact for all visitors to the office. The student employee will have frequent contact with students, and they will respect FERPA guidelines. The CWS student employee must be organized, punctual, detailed-oriented, self-motivated, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Job Duties
- Greet each guest and direct them accordingly
- Answer phone at front desk, file, and run errands on campus
- Monitor and restock supplies in work room, supply room and faculty/staff lounge with needed supplies
- Distribute mail
- Process copy jobs
- Other duties as assigned
Other Requirements for the Position
Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position will be for Summer 2026, starting as soon as May 18th.
Must be taking a minimum of 6 credit hours for the entire Summer 2026 semester.
