The postholder will be directly responsible for activities in the access and on-course stages of the student lifecycle, based in the Student Communities Team with a dotted-line reporting link to the Widening Participation Team.

The team and wider context

This innovative project is a key element of our Access and Participation Plan and contributes to the School’s strategy, LSE2030 – Educate for Global Impact strand, to improve equality of opportunity for students from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds.

You will work with colleagues at all stages of the student lifecycle to develop practical solutions to complex problems, that reflect and respond to students’ needs and feedback. The Student Lifecycle Programme Officer will also work closely with evaluation experts to evaluate, monitor and report on the programme’s outputs and impact.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with the ability to lead operational development and delivery of the programme, in order to deliver on our strategic objectives. Essential skills and experience include:

• Experience of managing projects and/or relationships with multiple stakeholders and Contributors
• Knowledge or interest in the UK higher education sector; and widening participation issues
• Experience of consulting service users or project beneficiaries to gather feedback and inform continuous improvement
