Student Wellness & Belonging Coordinator
Job Summary
The Student Wellness & Belonging Coordinator supports SMPH students by helping them identify the right next step when they feel overwhelmed or unsure where to begin, providing warm handoffs and follow-up, implementing student wellness programming, and supporting defined belonging and community-building initiatives across Student Services and the Office of Multicultural Affairs for Health Professions Learners. The position helps improve the student experience by promoting clarity, connection, and access to support across wellness, student support, and belonging resources.
- This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
- Monday through Friday 8:00a.m.- 4:30p.m.
- Terminal, 24 month appointment
- This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding.
- Must provide a valid driver's license.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Generates and analyzes reports of curricular and unit outcomes
- Serves as a subject matter expert regarding student affairs to internal and external stakeholders
- Organizes student-focused programming and resources to promote new and ongoing educational initiatives
- Creates and maintains schedules, logistics, and resources for one or multiple student affairs programs, activities, and/or services
- Supports coordination, implementation, and visibility of student wellness programming and specified student-facing belonging and community-building initiatives
- Contributes to student-facing resource communication and theme tracking
- Provides student check-ins, warm handoffs, and follow-up to connect SMPH students to appropriate resources
- Writes, edits, and publishes content for various communication projects and marketing platforms
