You will lead the Foundations of Clinical Practice subject, shaping first-year learning across the Melbourne MD.
You will drive curriculum innovation, assessment quality and student success, collaborating with expert educators and clinical partners.

What you will deliver:
- Lead ongoing review and enhancement of Foundations of Clinical Practice curriculum, ensuring alignment with evolving educational best practice.
- Develop high-quality teaching resources and subject guides in collaboration with discipline experts and the MD Educational Projects Team.
- Design, implement and evaluate assessment blueprints and items, contributing to standard setting, item review and Board processes.
- Oversee student progress and engagement within the subject, addressing concerns collaboratively with MD leadership and support teams.
- Contribute to educational scholarship, accreditation activities and departmental committees, promoting a culture of excellence and inclusion.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold a health professional qualification registerable with AHPRA and experience in clinical or academic healthcare settings.
- Possess postgraduate training in health professions education, or be significantly progressed towards completing such a qualification.
- Demonstrate excellence in health professions teaching, assessment design and delivery, including innovative curriculum development and evaluation.
- Bring proven experience leading or coordinating complex clinical teaching programs, including subject administration and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
- Maintain an active record of educational scholarship, including publications, conference presentations or funded education projects.
- Exhibit strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with capacity to influence, lead and build collaborative networks.
