Survey Systems and Integrations Professional
About the opportunity
The University's Advanced Analytics, Planning and Enterprise Data (AAP) team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced survey systems and integrations professional to manage the operational delivery and ongoing administration of the University's new student survey platform. This platform supports one of the institution's most significant datasets, the Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET). Working within a high-impact education and insights function, this role is critical in ensuring the stability, governance and performance of the platform during a major institutional transition across 2026-2027.
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to directly contribute to academic assurance, learning quality improvement and institutional reporting.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- serve as the primary owner of all AAP student survey platforms (Explorance Blue, Qualtrics), ensuring stability and alignment with institutional teaching and learning priorities, overseeing platform configuration, lifecycle management and system integrations
- manage survey programming and project set-up, data quality and validation and reporting workflows
- manage governance controls, risk mitigation and ensure AI analytics quality assurance processes are maintained
- support structured change management and continuous improvement initiatives during the platform transition and beyond.
- work closely with senior stakeholders, system vendors and internal technical teams
About you
- Advanced SQL skills for extracting, transforming and validating survey data across relational and non relational databases
- Ability to support ETL pipelines, automate data feeds, and reconcile survey data with institutional or enterprise systems (e.g. SIS, LMS, data warehouses)
- Hands on experience administering enterprise survey platforms (e.g. Qualtrics, Explorance Blue, Medallia or similar)
- Strong understanding of API based integrations, SSO, scheduling, metadata mapping, and system lifecycle management
- Ability to translate academic or business requirements into technical system configurations and integration solutions
- Strong capability in platform transition planning, documentation, risk mitigation and continuous improvement of survey and reporting capabilities
- extensive experience in managing large data sources and complex data across a large and diverse organisations (higher-education sector and management of student data is advantageous)
- elevated communication and influencing skills to operate with tact and professionalism across a diverse range of internal and external audiences
- experience applying governance, risk and data quality controls across reporting and evaluation systems
