Job Synopsis

The School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics (MLAL) at the University of Limerick (UL) invites applications for a specific-purpose appointment as Teaching Assistant in Spanish.

The post holder will contribute to the delivery of core and elective modules in Spanish (including translation and interpreting), as well as modules in Translation Studies, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Contract Type: Specific Purpose Contract (Approximate end date 15/1/27)

"A Teaching Assistant post in the University of Limerick operates as a training contract. The duration of the contract is limited to 10 months. However, it may be renewed for one further period, not exceeding 10 months. Applications will only be considered from individuals who have not already received two Teaching Assistant contracts"

The closing date for receipt of applications is Tuesday, 23rd June 2026. Applications must be completed online before 12 noon, Irish Standard Time on the closing date.
