Teaching Associate in Law - Fixed term
The School of Law and Politics at Cardiff University is seeking to appoint Teaching Associates (Grade 5) in Law.
A successful candidate will be or have the potential to be an excellent teacher and scholar. They will have a good first degree in a relevant subject and good knowledge of the foundations of legal knowledge. They will have a postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional expertise in Law or a cognate field by the time the appointment begins. Successful candidates will have the ability and willingness to teach EU Law. They may also be required to supervise undergraduate dissertation students.
These are variable hour, hourly paid contracts, available from 1 September 2026 and for a period of 12 months.

Salary: £33,951 - £36,636 per annum, pro rata for hours worked (Grade 5)
Appointments to roles at Cardiff University are usually made at bottom of scale, unless in exceptional circumstances.
