Responsibilities
The FSU College of Nursing is seeking to hire collaborative educators to teach in our in-person, on-campus undergraduate clinical-focused program, based in Tallahassee, Florida (FL). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide clinical nursing instruction in community health, pediatrics, or mental health.
- Promote student success through highly engaged teaching.
- Participate in planning, organizing, and developing curriculum.
- Supervise, evaluate, and mentor students.
- Appropriately document student progress in clinical sessions.
- Participate in and meaningfully contribute to departmental and team meetings.
- Provide academic service and educational excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
- Other duties as assigned.
These roles focus on high-quality clinical instruction in the undergraduate nursing program and support the college’s mission to prepare practice-ready, compassionate nurse leaders. Faculty are expected to be actively engaged in teaching, student mentorship and academic service in a collaborative, on-campus environment.

Qualifications
- A Master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Active FL Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license; or licensed in another state with eligibility to obtain FL licensure within 30 days of hire.
- Candidates must have relevant teaching experience in pediatrics, mental health, or community health.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with students, faculty, and staff at all levels within a collaborative environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook or equivalent software.
- Experience supervising and training employees.
- Experience meeting project deadlines.
- PhD preferred.
