POSITION SUMMARY
Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX invites applications for a full-time 2-3 year fixed-term Teaching Fellow position in the Mathematics Department, to begin in August 2026. There is a possibility for transfer to a continuing position at the end of the fixed-term appointment based on performance and department needs.
Expectations
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds and will be capable of teaching a variety of mathematics courses. Responsibilities include teaching a combined total of 30 hours total during the fall, winter, and spring terms, and participation in a 4-week faculty development institute at the end of each academic year. There are no additional service or advising obligations associated with this position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- A master’s degree in mathematics or expected doctoral degree in mathematics before August 2026.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- A doctoral degree in mathematics.
- Teaching experience at the collegiate level, including both face-to-face and online modalities.
