About the Job

Position Overview

The Center for Early Education & Development (CEED), College of Education and Human Development, continually accepts resumes for online teaching positions that may become available during the academic year or summer sessions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses for individuals who seek professional development in a variety of early childhood topic areas, such as: introduction to infant mental health, bridging early childhood education and infant mental health, relationship-based teaching, working with parents possessing special considerations, infant through preschool movement, premature babies, supporting infant and parent relationships, pregnancy and birth.

Applications are reviewed as openings occur, and individual applicants are invited to interview when their skills or areas of expertise match an opening. These are temporary, non-tenured, Academic Professional and Administrative (P&A) positions, paid on a per course basis, and appointed as either Teaching Specialist (BA or MA) or Lecturer (PhD). Typically these appointments are arranged semester by semester and employment is contingent upon the course meeting its enrollment target. This posting is designed to establish a "pool" of instructors. Applications will not be acknowledged, but will be reviewed when such openings occur throughout the academic year.
