Student Life

The Student Life Directorate delivers services and evidence-based programs for current students that aims to contribute to improved health and wellbeing; as well as supporting students to succeed in their higher education studies. The Directorate has three major teams focused on (1) Health and Wellbeing; (2) Students course advice, course progress and success; and (3) Student Experience and Student Voice. The Directorate focuses on taking a person-centred approach when engaging with students; collaboration across Schools and Directorates and continuous quality improvement to make a transformational and meaningful impact on students experience at University.

About the Opportunity

You will join a high-performing, purpose-driven team delivering vibrant sport and recreation experiences. As a member you will be responsible for:

• Leading and operationalising ECU’s sport and recreation programs, translating strategy into engaging, inclusive initiatives that drive participation and wellbeing.
• Building and sustaining strong relationships with stakeholders, partners and student communities to deliver high-quality programs and opportunities.
• Developing and driving a high-performing team, ensuring safe, effective operations and continuous improvement through data, insights and innovation.

• Your proven success in leading sport, recreation or engagement programs, delivering initiatives that increase participation and create inclusive, high-impact experiences.
• How you have made an impact and influenced program outcomes through strategic thinking, data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
