Primary Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Support various Academic Functions of the School in aiding student studies, research engagement needs, school technical building space auditing, realignments, basic architectural and building works and design and drafting requirements.
- Basic understanding of Architecture and Building Software and Computer Applications.
- Organize Student and Staff Filed Trips
- Other duties as and when needed by the Staff and School.
Qualification & Experience
- The candidate must have a Diploma in Architecture and/or in Building from a recognized institution
- The candidate must have some working exposure and experience in the marketplace either in the Building Industry and other industries.
- The candidate must have a certificate in Information Technology (IT) from a recognized institution.
- The candidate must be matured and must be willing to take additional non-related and/or related work responsibilities.
- The candidate must have accommodation in Lae and must have the ability to work extra hours on demand.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Must Communicate fluently in English at all level of staff both National and expatriate
- Must be able to work as a team and the ability to accept responsibility at a senior level.
- Honesty & Integrity with good oral & written Skills and computer literate.
Conditions of Service
Base Salary:
- Technical Officer I – K26,709 – K32,644 per annum
- Technical Officer II – K31,288 – K38,241 per annum
(Level of appointment depends upon qualification and experience)
