Job Summary
Provide support services in the operation and maintenance of an academic or research laboratory to include performing analyses; setup, operation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment; and maintaining stock of supplies. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs.
Job Summary
The Entrepreneurship Assistant (EA) will conduct market assessment of the bio-emulsifiers technology and develop report in the areas supporting the following elements of setting up business: 1. Primary Market Research (Customer discovery and validation) 2. Industry Analysis/Secondary Market Research (Conducting IP analysis, SWOT & PEST analysis, and utilizing competitive forces model to study the market forces landscape that might affect startups) 3. Business Model Generation / Applying Entrepreneurial Strategy Compass (ESC) to assess potential go-to-market strategies.
Responsibilities
The position requires 40 hours ($25/hr.) per week in the Summer and Fall 2026 semesters. The EA will: Attend training sessions on Lean Startup methodology. Conduct customer discovery interviews and perform other activities listed above in the position overview section. Attend weekly check-in sessions. Prepare and submit a final report summarizing the technology assessment and a 2-min summary video on technology assessed at the end of the program.
