Temporary Faculty - Reference and Electronic Resources Librarian
The Reference and Electronic Resources Librarian is located at the University of Idaho’s Moscow, Idaho campus and works under the supervision and general direction of the Director of the Law Library. This position is responsible for the Law Library’s electronic resources management, policies, and decisions. Duties include, but are not limited to, working closely with the University Library to coordinate the Law Library’s participation in the University Library’s integrated library system, including EZ-Proxy administration; enhancing awareness of the library’s physical and electronic resources through the ExLibris’ Primo discovery service and the law library website; supervising the maintenance of Law Library specific electronic databases and resources, such as LibGuides, Digital Commons, and vendor study aid subscriptions; troubleshooting database connectivity issues; and monitoring ongoing changes with Title II digital accessibility compliance. In addition, this position provides reference and research support services to law school students, faculty, staff, members of the University community, and the general public; teaches Introduction to Legal Research and other potential semester courses; prepares presentations, lectures, or other materials on specific legal research topics and use of the law library collection; and completes other duties as assigned.
The College of Law and Law Library are located on the main campus of the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho.
