Temporary Faculty Spanish
Job Summary
The Department of World Languages and Cultures is now accepting applications for a pool of part time instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Spanish.
- Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online).
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Earned Master's degree in Spanish or a closely related field, by August 1, 2026, with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Spanish/Hispanic language, culture, literature, and/or pedagogy.
- Two years of teaching experience.
- Experience with ACTFL Proficiency-Oriented instruction.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching online SPAN courses.
Proposed Salary
Commensurate with experience.
This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
