Temporary Field/Lab Research - Robacker
Position Summary
The position will work closely with faculty and technicians to assist in field, greenhouse, and laboratory experiments in horticulture and plant breeding. Attention to detail is critical.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory practices including microscope work, plant tissue culture, and other duties as required for the plant breeding program. (60%)
- Planting in the field and greenhouse; propagating plants via cuttings or tissue culture watering plants, pollinating plants, collecting research data in the field and greenhouse, and other duties as required. (30%)
- Photograph plants to be used in presentations. (10%)
