Temporary Full-Time Clinical Assistant Professor (OYA) -School of Rehabilitation Services

Scope of Job

We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's student body as a Clinical Assistant Professor of the School of Rehabilitation Services & Counseling beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Master's degree in rehabilitation counseling, addictions counseling, psychology, allied health, expressive arts therapy, or a related area.
2. A minimum of three years post master's degree professional work experience in the field, with at least two years in direct service.
3. Professional certifications (e.g., CRC, Certified Interpreter for the Deaf) or licensure (e.g., LPC, LCDC, LPC-A, LCDC-Intern).
