Temporary, Part-Time Early, Middle, and Elementary Education (EMEE) Instructor - (Unsolicited)
Job Summary/Basic Function
The department of Early, Middle and Elementary Education is accepting applications for a part-time instructor responsible for teaching coursework and/or supervising student teachers.
The purpose of this posting is to generate a pool of qualified faculty. Applications submitted will be reviewed on an as needed basis based on enrollment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Elementary Education or related discipline.
- At least five years full-time teaching experience in U.S. schools.
- Successful preschool or public school experience.
- Prior experience teaching course content or related topics.
- Evidence of ability to successfully teach diverse student populations.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and working with diverse student populations.
- Successful interview.
- Successful teaching demonstration for class teaching assignments
- Successful completion of three background checks.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD or ABD in Elementary Education or related specialized discipline.
- Supervisory or Administrative experience in public school settings.
- Prior college-level teaching experience.
