Temporary, Part-Time Faculty Position in Chemistry

The Department of Physical Sciences at Kutztown University invites applications for a one-semester (Fall 2026), quarter-time position to teach a cell biology technology course beginning August 2026. The course is laboratory-intensive and includes hands-on experiments in mammalian cell culture, cell microscopy, cell transfection, and cell flow cytometry. The course will be taught in the evening. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly/professional growth; and service.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum master's degree in cell biology or a related field and two years of college-level teaching experience, or equivalent, are required.
Preferred Qualifications
A Ph.D. degree in cell biology or related field is preferred.
