Job Summary
Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a charming rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is just a 20-minute drive from the metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Counselor Education and Student Affairs at Kutztown University invites applications for multiple temporary, part-time faculty positions to begin Fall 2026. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service.
Minimum Qualifications
- An earned Masters in Counseling or a related field, counseling and/or clinical experience and/or teaching experience in higher education, and completion of an interview
- Candidate must have the ability to teach the CACREP common core curricular area and have a clear identity as a professional counselor
Preferred Qualifications
- An earned Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited counselor education program
