Temporary Research Aide

The successful candidate will participate in research projects, aid in lab maintenance, and process data. A willingness to learn various bench top work and to be exposed to large domestic animals is important for this position.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma and up to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have competent computer skills (MS Office and Excel)

Important Details about the Position

• This is an onsite position located in Ithaca, NY.
• This is a 2.5 month temporary part time position offering 19hrs/wk
• The pay rate for this position is $20.00/hr
• This position is not benefits eligible
• We are unable to provide Visa sponsorship, now or in the future, for this position.
• Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
• Employees working in the lab must receive the pre-exposure rabies prophylaxis vaccination series prior to or immediately after hire, which will be paid for by the department.
