Temporary Research Assistant (Multiple Vacancies)
Position Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the department of Psychiatry at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Temporary Research Assistant will support grant funded research and demonstration projects.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Interacts with study patients.
- Assists with scheduling study visits.
- Tracks and discusses participant progress.
- Communicates regularly with the Principal Investigator and related faculty and staff on assigned projects is expected.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific field.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Physical Demands: Standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing. No special vision requirements. Must be able to lift or exert up to 25 pounds.
- Work Environment: Office environment. Moderate noise.
