Temporary Turfgrass Lab/Field Assistant - Walt
This position will assist researchers with both lab and field experiments conducted on turfgrass on the Griffin Campus as well as off-site areas.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining turfgrass plots. (60%)
- Assist in research trial implementation. (20%)
- Assist supervisor and perform other duties as assigned. (20%)
Additional Schedule Information: Monday-Friday; 8-5 pm
Physical Demands: Work outdoors in heat and lift up to 50 lbs.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position: Some experience in field work.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies: At least one year of high school.
