The successful candidate will join a collaborative department dedicated to outstanding teaching, close faculty-student mentoring, and active undergraduate research. The successful candidate will also contribute to Kenyon's interdisciplinary Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) program. We seek applicants who demonstrate a commitment to inclusive teaching practices, strong academic support for students, and effective mentoring for a diverse student population. Teaching expectations are 5 courses per year, including introductory biology, Molecular Biology, its associated laboratory course, and upper level courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. Opportunities exist for interdisciplinary teaching and scholarship within and beyond the natural sciences. The successful candidate is expected to establish an active research program that engages undergraduate collaborators, leads to publications, and has the potential to attract extramural funding.
