Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Sociology
The Department of Sociology seeks a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Sociology who can teach courses offered within the Major and Minor, the general education program, and in service to students in nursing and health sciences. While the area of specialization is open, candidates with expertise in the sociology of health and illness, culture and media, gender, or immigration are especially encouraged to apply. Preference will also be given to candidates who can teach research methods at the undergraduate level.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate will meet the following minimum requirements:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. in Sociology, Ph.D. in Anthropology)
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- Experience teaching Research Methods (Quantitative and Qualitative)
- Experience with online teaching
