Rutgers University–New Brunswick’s School of Engineering invites applications for multiple faculty positions across all ranks and areas of expertise... Aerospace Engineering. All areas with a preference toward propulsion, materials, structures, materials, and/or space systems.

Candidates with relevant expertise in aerospace sciences, aircraft and spacecraft structures, complex systems modeling, and applications are especially encouraged to apply. Synergies with one or more department strengths in Aerospace and Hypersonics will be viewed positively. Successful candidates will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering; develop a nationally recognized and externally funded scholarly research program.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience: Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field, completed by the time of appointment and demonstrated excellence in research, potential for or record of external funding, and a strong commitment to teaching and student success.

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with relevant expertise in aerospace sciences, aircraft and spacecraft structures, are especially encouraged to apply. Synergies with one or more department strengths in Aerospace, Hypersonics will be viewed positively.
