Tokyo Medical University is seeking applications for the position of Chair and Professor of the Department of Anatomy.
We are seeking an individual with distinguished academic achievements and extensive expertise in the field of basic medical sciences, who is committed to excellence in anatomical education and capable of pioneering new interdisciplinary research areas while actively promoting collaborative research projects both nationally and internationally.
Tokyo Medical University has two anatomy-related departments: the Department of Anatomy, which is primarily responsible for gross anatomy, and the Department of Histology and Neuroanatomy, which is responsible for neuroanatomy, histology, and embryology. For this position, we particularly seek a candidate who can assume primary responsibility for the teaching and research of gross anatomy.
