Providing specialist support to academics, Postgraduates and students across the faculty of Science and Engineering. Providing teaching support using the background knowledge of apprenticeships, to aid in the use of pillar drills and other equipment.

What will you be doing?

• Toolroom machining. Machines include CNC Milling turning and EDM. Manual lathes, mills grinding and laser cutting. Fitting knowledge/skills also.
• Teaching support in a classroom environment.
• Supporting research projects around Queens building and adding design knowledge

You should apply if

You have the following:

• City & Guilds or relevant qualifications tool room machinist.
• Knowledge of CAD systems, inclusive of siemens, fanuc and Autodesk/fusion
• Excellent communication skills
