Position Summary
The Department of Biomedical Informatics in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is looking for a part-time Training Program Administrator.
In this role, the Training Program Administrator will:
- Understand and comply with FERPA and HIPAA regulations, and office confidentiality expectations.
- Update and maintain residency contact sheets and checklists.
- Prepare and maintain residency rotation schedules and enter data into MedHub, along with all other data required in the MedHub system.
- Will use ADS to enter ACGME data
- Compliance monitoring and distribution of monthly reports, hours logged, et. al. for residency to all faculty as applicable
- Assist the Program Director and Office Manager/TPA with residency / fellowship recruitment efforts, including but not limited to medical student promotional activities, oversight of Bioinformatics Interest Group meetings, and oversight of UB Department of Biomedical Informatics website and other media. Encourage completion of evaluations from fellows and faculty.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or two years of full-time experience in a clinical or administrative setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD degree and / or three years of experience in a clinical or administrative setting.
- Proficiency in the use of MEDHUB.
- Experience in higher education.
Salary Range
$32,000 Plus Benefits
