Treatment Coordinator - Neurology
Position Summary
Acts as a focal point for coordinating immunotherapy treatment and all steps that precede the treatment within the Memory Diagnostic Center.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs checks to verify all requirements for treatment are met before starting paperwork for each patient, including assisting the clinic provider with obtaining all signatures before submission of treatment request forms.
- Acts as liaison to drug companies and billing department, keeping up to date with changing insurance policies responds and troubleshoots all steps of the prior-authorization process. Coordinates and tracks all treatment steps (schedules infusions, MRIs, Genetic testing). Additionally responds to and address family/patient concerns related to therapy.
- Consults with multiple ordering providers with all pre/post therapy concerns. Assists ordering providers with managing the addition of all patients to therapy databases.
- Requests patient medical records on behalf of ordering provider and ensuring all requested records are placed into appropriate patient charts.
- Prepares and delivers monthly reports addressing clinic progress or concerns to clinic providers and staff. Meets with EPIC build team to discuss construction of EPIC databases and reports.

Required Qualifications
Education:

Salary Range
$20.57 - $30.84 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
