Do you have a passion for online teaching? Are you interested in supporting students who want to study on demand and do you possess specialist knowledge and skills to teach in the fields of Business, STEM, Health, Justice, or Creative disciplines? With degrees spanning a wide range of programs, UniSA Online is accepting expressions of interest for casual online tutors who are interested in undertaking sessional teaching contracts.

Core Responsibilities

Undertake teaching as part of the UniSA Online teaching team

Implement approaches that maximise the student experience and learning outcomes

Provide academic support, mentoring and advice to students

Apply disciplinary expertise to consult, facilitate discussions, mark assessment items, and provide feedback to students

Act as the first point of response/contact in managing student issues or complaints

Essential Skills and Experience

Bachelor degree and relevant professional/industry work experience

Ability to undertake a range of teaching duties in an online environment

Ability to actively engage and educate a diverse student group

Excellent written and interpersonal skills

Ability to use the necessary digital techniques required for effective online teaching

Ability to work outside of normal working hours and on weekends
