Visa Information
TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.
Position Description
Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.
Major/Essential Functions
Budget & Financial Management: Create, review, and manage grant budgets, track expenditures, and process payment for grant expenditures according to TTUHSC policies and procedures.
Pre-Award & Post-Award Administration: Research funding opportunities, assist in drafting proposals and applications, and manage post-award reporting, monitoring, and audit preparations.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation for grant-funded personnel, time-and-effort certifications, inventory, and project milestones.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and state/federal agencies, providing training and technical assistance to internal staff and external partners.
Will be required to submit monthly financial reports to state/federal grantor agencies in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.
