Your future position is at the Department of Economics which is part of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics. We are a highly international and research-oriented Department. More than 30 full-time junior and senior professors together with numerous PhD students form an international community dedicated to studying all aspects of economics.
Your future tasks:
- Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means:
- You build up an independent research profile in the field of Applied Microeconomics, specifically in labor, education and family economics.
- You are involved in research projects and scientific studies.
- You publish internationally and give lectures.
- You apply for projects and raise third-party funds.
- You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
- You participate in examination activities.
- You participate in evaluation measures and in quality assurance.
- You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.
This is part of your personality:
- Completed doctoral/PhD studies in Economics (before starting your employment)
- Outstanding dissertation in the field of Applied Microeconomics (specifically in labor, education and family economics)
- Research competence and initiative
- Didactic skills
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Knowledge of German is an asset but not required.
