Your personal sphere of influence:

Prof. Florian Möslein has accepted a post at the University of Vienna with effect from 1 May 2026. As a Praedoc University Assistant, you will support him as part of his team in establishing his chair and take on tasks such as assisting with research and administration, as well as contributing to teaching activities.

Your future tasks:

You will play an active role in administration, research and teaching, which means:

  • You will support Univ.-Prof. Dr. Florian Möslein in building a team characterised by openness, cohesion and mutual support.
  • You will work on your dissertation and its completion, as well as other independent research activities, with the aim of deepening your own specialist and academic knowledge.
  • You will assist with research and teaching activities.

This is part of your personality:

  • An above-average Master’s or Diploma degree in Law, qualifying you for doctoral studies, or a comparable qualification (e.g. First State Examination in Law under German law)
  • Demonstrable knowledge and areas of interest in capital markets law, digitalisation law and sustainability law
  • Demonstrable interest in international and interdisciplinary research, preferably in legal issues related to tokenization
  • Teaching experience and experience in conducting research projects; practical experience is desirable
  • Initial publication activity and experience of participating in academic conferences
  • Excellent command of German and English (C1) and knowledge of at least one other foreign language
  • You are a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills and are able to work independently.

Duration of contract:The contract term for this position is 4 years. Initially limited to 1.5 years, the contract will be automatically extended to 4 years unless the employer issues a notice of non-renewal within the first 12 months.
